Who is responsible

Which data we process

Only what you send us yourself. If you mail or call us, we process your name, your email address or phone number, your company name and whatever else you put in your message — a floor plan or a project description, for example.

If you become a client, we add the data we need to deliver and invoice: contacts, addresses, order and invoice details.

If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics additionally processes your (truncated) IP address, device and browser data and which pages you view.

Why we process them

To answer your question and prepare a quote (performance of, or steps leading to, a contract), to carry out and invoice a project (contract), and to meet our bookkeeping obligations (legal obligation).

Analytics happens solely on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw it at any moment via the cookie policy.

How long we keep them

Enquiries that don't lead to a project we keep for a maximum of two years. Invoices and the related administration we keep for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Project documentation we keep for as long as we support the system, so we can help when something fails. Analytics data is retained by Google for fourteen months.

Who we share them with

Nobody, unless it's needed to deliver: our hosting provider, our mail provider, our accountant and, if a project calls for it, a supplier or subcontractor. We have data processing agreements with those parties. We don't sell anything on and we don't use your data for advertising.

If you consent to analytics, that data goes to Google Ireland Limited, which may also process it outside the EU within its group. Google does so under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

Without your consent this site sets no cookie at all and loads no third-party script. The fonts are served from our own server, so no request goes to Google either. What does happen if you accept is described in the cookie policy.

Your rights

You may ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, have the processing restricted, receive it in a common file format and object to processing. Mail info@cuevation.com; you'll hear from us within a month. If you disagree with how we resolve it, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Security

The site runs entirely over https. Access to client data is limited to the people working on it and protected with two-factor authentication. If you suspect a breach or find a vulnerability, mail info@cuevation.com.
